Treehugger awarded at the VR Arles Festival

Invited by Fabbula to present it for the first time in France, Treehugger wins the hearts and minds of the VR Arles Festival 2018 jury. Presentation as an immersive installation for up to 4 persons at once, Treehugger is a deeply moving experience which make you follow the path of a water particle from the roots to the top of a giant sequoia tree.

Becoming a tree

By embodiying you as a tree, the London based collective Marshmallow Laser Feast, hope to provide a transformative experience and develop a renewed relationship with nature. An artwork to experience all summer in Arles

Marshmallow Laser Feast collective

With a pioneering spirit and a commitment to use technology for innovative purpose, MLF is writing since 2015 some of the most beautiful pages of virtual reality. Together with In The Eyes of The Animal , Treehugger belongs to a ongoing research and body of work which make us see beyond our senses at the age of Anthropocène.
